टिहरी.. सोमवार को भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति भारत रत्न स्वर्गीय प्रणब मुखर्जी को कांग्रेस जनों द्वारा जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी कार्यालय नई टिहरी में श्रद्धांजलि दी गई साथ ही उत्तराखंड राज्य निर्माण में खटीमा में हुए गोली कांड में सहीद आंदोलनकारियों को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि व्यक्त की गयी।श्रद्धांजलि मेंं प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के उपाध्यक्ष प्रताप नगर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के पूर्व विधायक विक्रम सिंह नेगी ने कहा कि प्रणब मुखर्जी का उत्तराखंड से बहुत लगाव था उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी से उन्हें दो बार मिलने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ पहली बार जब वह कांग्रेस के विधान मंडल दल से राष्ट्रपति पद के लिए समर्थन जुटाने उत्तराखंड आए थे और दूसरी बार उत्तराखंड की विधानसभा में विशेष सत्र आहूत किया गया था जिसको महामहिम राष्ट्रपति के नाते उन्होंने संबोधित किया था । प्रणव मुखर्जी एक साधारण, विद्वान ,मेहनती और संसदीय परंपराओं के निर्वहन करने वाले ईमानदार व्यक्ति थे। उत्तराखंड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के महासचिव पूर्व राज्य मंत्री याकूब सिद्दीकी ने कहा उत्तराखंड राज्य निर्माण के आंदोलनकारी ओर सहिदों की बदोलत ही राज्य का निर्माण हुआ है जिसे हम कभी भुला नहीं सकते उनकी शहादत को हमेशा चिरिस्मर्णीय रखा जाएगा ।जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष राकेश राणा और प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के सचिव विजय गुनसोला ने कहा कि प्रणब मुखर्जी के रूप में देश में एक महान विभूति को खो दिया है जिसकी भरपाई होना संभव नहीं है। शहर कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष देवेंद्र नौटियाल और चंबा ब्लॉक कांग्रेस कमेटी अध्यक्ष राजेंद्र प्रसाद डोभाल ने कहा कि राज्य निर्माण में जिन लोगों ने अपनी शहादत दी है उन्हें उत्तराखंड का भविष्य कभी भी नहीं भूल सकता है प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के सचिव कुलदीप पवार वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता पुरुषोत्तम सिंह तलवार ने कहा आज शहीदों की बदौलत ही उत्तराखंड राज्य बना है लेकिन वर्तमान की सरकार जन भावनाओं पर खरी नहीं उतर पा रही है ।श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम में आईटी प्रकोष्ठ के प्रदेश सचिव मुर्तजा बेग जिला कांग्रेस कमेटी के सचिव जसवीर सिंह कंडियाल प्रताप नगर किसान कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष मदन सिंह चौहान प्रधान खांड सिद्धि रामकुकरेती हर्ष मणि कुकरेती आदि मौजूद थे।
