टिहरी जनपद के बजींगा गांव के ग्रामीण बाल संगठन का ग्रीष्म उत्सव रविवार को ग्रामीण बाल पंचायत गंगी में भगवान सोमेश्वर मंदिर के प्रांगण में मनाया गया।
ग्रामीण बाल विकास संगठन गांव के बच्चों का एक समूह है जिसमे 5 साल से 18 साला तक के बच्चे स्कूल के बाद और छुट्टियों में स्वयं ही बौद्धिक, शारीरिक, सामाजिक गतिविधियों को अपने बाल पंचायत संयोजक के मार्गदर्शन में करते हैं। बहुत कम समय में ही ग्रामीण बाल विकास संगठन का विस्तार लगभग 8 ग्राम सभाओं में ग्रामीण बाल पंचायत के रूप में हो चुका है और इसमें 500 से अधिक बच्चे स्थाई सदस्य के रूप में प्रतिभाग कर रहे हैं। टिहरी जनपद ही नही बल्कि उत्तराखंड और विदेशों में भी ग्रामीण बाल संगठन के कार्यों को सराहा जा रहा है और वाइस ऑफ़ माउंटेन, फील गुड (भलू लागदु), समारंभ, उत्तराखंड उत्थान प्रयोगशाला जैसी प्रसिद्ध संस्थाएं इस संगठन को अपना सहयोग प्रदान कर रही हैं वहीं
बच्चों की गतिविधियों में सबसे बड़ा सहयोग नुपुर नवानी जी का रहता है जो पूरे माह की गतिविधियों के सबसे बेहतर बच्चे को स्टार ऑफ द मंथ का अवार्ड देती हैं, उन्हे ढेर सारी कहानियां और ज्ञान वर्धक किस्से सुनाती हैं।

गंगी बाल पंचायत कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत बच्चों ने स्थानीय भेष भूषा में स्वागत गान के साथ की, साथ ही बाल पंचायत रानीडांग, ज्योंदाना, देवंज, भटगांव के बच्चों ने अपनी अपनी सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों से सबका मन मोहा। बाल पंचायत गंगी की संयोजक रवीना राणा ने संगठन के सदस्य अतुल, गोपाल के साथ मिलकर कार्यक्रम का संयोजन व संचालन किया।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि लोकेश गैरोला, सुनीति गैरोला, अतिविशिष्ट अतिथि नुपुर नवानी, अश्वनीगौड़, राजेंद्र चौहान ने बच्चों का हौसला बढ़ाया और अपने विचार रखे। अरविंद ने अपनी कविता मैं गंगी गांव छो से सबका मन मोहा। अध्यापक व कलश साहित्यिक संस्था के सदस्य कवि अश्वनी गौड़ ने इस कार्यक्रम के लिए अपनी पूर्व छात्रा रवीना राणा की भूरी भूरी प्रसंशा की। बाल पंचायत रानीडांग की संचालक निधि रावत ने फीलगुड प्लास्टिक बैंक के बारे में अवगत कराया। बाल पंचायत देवंज के संचालक प्रदीप ने गाना गाकर सबकी तालियां बटोरी।
