उत्तरकाशी उप तहसील धौंतरी के रातलधार श्रीकालखाल मोटर मार्ग पर एक स्कूटी दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुई। स्कूटी करीब 100 मीटर गहरी खाई में गिरी है। जिसमें सवार दो भाइयों सहित तीन की मृत्यु हुई है।लगातार हो रही बारिश के बीच गहरी खाई से तीनों के शव रेस्क्यू करने में लंबगांव थाना पुलिस, उत्तरकाशी थाना पुलिस व राज्य आपदा मोचन बल की टीम को खासी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी। शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए उत्तरकाशी जिला अस्पताल में पहुंचाया गया है। ये तीनों टिहरी व उत्तरकाशी के क्षेत्र में राजमिस्त्री का कार्य करते थे।
दोपहर करीब एक बजे उत्तरकाशी को श्रीकालखाल से हर्ष लाल (45) पुत्र शांति लाल निवासी पोखरियाल गांव उत्तरकाशी, मोहन लाल (40) पुत्र फगणदास व सोहन लाल (38) पुत्र फगणदास निवासी मुखेम पट्टी उपली रमोली, टिहरी गढ़वाल स्कूटी में सवार हुए।तीनों पोखरियाल गांव श्रीकालखाल से मुखेम जा रहे थे। लेकिन, रातधार के निकट स्कूटी गहरी खाई में जा गिरी। खाई में पत्थरों टकराने पर तीनों की घटना स्थल पर ही मृत्यु हुई। इस दुर्घटना का कारण तेज गति के साथ वर्षा में स्कूटी के ब्रेक न लगना भी माना जा रहा है।
