डोली यात्रा के संयोजक व पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री, मंत्री प्रसाद नैथानी ने कहा कि पिछले 22 बर्षों से निकाली जा रही जगदीशिला डोली यात्रा इस बार साढ़े दस हजार किलोमीटर की दूरी तय कर के उत्तराखंड का भ्रमण कर रही है। इस यात्रा का मुख्य उद्देश्य विश्व में शांति कायम करना हा, साथ ही प्रदेश को तीर्थाटन के रूप में विकसित करना, देव संस्कृति को बचाए रखना और उत्तराखंड देव भूमि में 1 हजार से अधिक धाम स्थापित करना है।
उन्होंने कहा कि 11 मई से हरिद्वार से यात्रा का शुभारंभ किया गया था, जिसका समापन गंगा दशहरा 9 जून को श्री विश्वनाथ मंदिर, नीलछाड़ में होगा। बता दें कि डोली यात्रा जनपद देहरादून, उत्तरकाशी, चम्बा होते आज नई टिहरी पहुंची।
